We are a company of arborists (tree surgeons) and woodsmen in East & North Herts. We are based at a yard in Much Hadham situated in the middle of a triangle made by Bishops Stortford, Harlow and Ware. Our tree surgery working range is normally about 20 miles from our yard, however for woodland management and planting projects we will travel much further.

Driven by a love of trees and respect for our natural environment we work closely with each other and nature.

We are dedicated to high quality, professional tree surgery, and woodland management, recycling and permaculture. We also provide informed and qualified tree advice.

Part of our business is the supply of high quality Seasoned Firewood Logs recovered from tree surgery and through our woodland management work .

The spirit of our tree surgeon collective is sharing, support, co-operation and mutual respect. We are working together to promote all tree surgeons being responsible stewards of our environment.

In our increasingly urban environment, our trees need great care, protection and respect. And with trees and humans living alongside each other in such close proximity we need to also ensure that they are safe and kept in good condition. When dying or dead they must be removed safely and replaced, or provision ensured to allow them to 'fall apart' gracefully whilst safeguarding the public.

A lot of damage and poor work is carried out by some so-called tree surgeons in the arboricultural industry, and their waste disposed of in irresponsible ways. This of course happens in every industry, but with trees you can not put back what has been cut off. Firewood Logs, wood chips, charcoal, furniture, garden structures, hedging stakes, fencing poles e.t.c. The majority of our waste is wood from tree surgery and woodland management operations, which is split and seasoned to make high quality Firewood Logs (see Firewood Logs )



	All our arborists (tree surgeons) are NPTC qualified, and either academically and professionally trained or both. Therefore you can be certain that all our tree surgery will be carried out to the highest professional standard



	All our tree surgery and woodland management work is covered by full arboricultural insurance - public liability cover to £5 million & employers liability and also carried out with comprehensive health & safety risk assessment and considerations



	Tree surgery work carried out to a high standard with due regard to BS3998 - British Standard Recommendations for Tree Work Issued by the British Standards Institution.



	We use bio-degradable chain oil where at all possible to help protect the environment. Especially important when working around ponds, rivers, streams and in wet woodlands



	After our tree work is completed we leave the site clear and tidy, with all waste removed unless by previous arrangement
